There was a man who won election to be Nigeria's president, but who was never allowed to rule by unjust people. He was Basorun M.K.O Abiola. That injustice persisted from 1993, till June this year,
when President Muhammadu Buhari did what Napoleon could notdo.

He recognized Abiola posthumously as a Nigerian President, and gave his memory due honours.

On Thursday, August 23, 2018, a day before M.K.O Abiola would have turned 81 years, his son, Alhaji Jamiu Abiola (born by Alhaja Kudirat Abiola, also slain in the quest to validate her husband's electoral victory) was at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, to see Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Buhari, Mr Femi Adesina.Alhaji Abiola used the opportunity to present a copy of his book, The President Who NeverRuled, a 192 pages affair. The author was accompanied by Dr Kunle Hamilton, Dr Abayomi Oyekoya, and Mr Tunji Pitan. The team equally unfolded the Buhari Unity Band (BUB), a unifying bridge for greater Nigeria. It is an initiative that will soon resonate across the country, and even beyond.Keep your fingers crossed.
