Governor Dickson Holds 2017 End Of Year Thanksgiving At Toru-Orua, Bayelsa

BAYELSA STATE GOVERNOR HON. HENRY SERIAKE DICKSON HOLDS 2017 END OF YEAR THANKSGIVING SESSION AND MARK HIS LATE FATHER PA NANAYE DICKSON'S 7TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY AT TORU-ORUA COMMUNITY.

It was celebration all around at the home town of the Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson, as the peace loving people of Bayelsa State gathered at Toru-Orua, Sagbama LGA joined the Governor of Bayelsa State H.S Dickson for the end of year 2017 Thanksgiving section and to celebrate a fallen Hero late Pa. Nanaye Dickson, who died seven years ago.

The event saw the arrival of dignitaries both from home and abroad, as they gather to mark the Late Pa. Dickson's death few years ago.

Colourful programs like wrestling contest, choir ministrations, dance, football, live music performance etc were put in place to thrill guests in attendance. were put in place to trill guests who were in attendance.
His Excellency, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson, his amiable wife, Dr. Mrs. Rachael Dickson, their quadruplets, and young looking mother of the Governor, were all in attendance.

In no particular order dignitaries in attendance were Hon. Douye Diri Member Bayelsa central at the federal house of Representative, the political tiger Hon. Adikumo Salo Member BSHA SALGA Constituency 3, the State PDP Secretary Hon. Keku Godspower, the vibrant and hard-working CTC Chairman of SALGA Hon. Michael Magbisa and his admirable wife Mrs. Joy Magbisa, Hon. Comr Ekisah Sinkumo Chairman NYCN Bayelsa State, Hon. Okubokakpo OmbuSSA Youth Development SALGA, Hon. Tony Ogala Chairman Bayelsa United FC, the CTC Chairman of KOLGA, Hon. Wisdom Fafi, Hon. Akpofini Odogu, SSA SDGs Bayelsa State and hosts of other dignitaries too numerous to mentioned.

The Governor, while addressing his guests, thanked all those who out of their tight schedule, still saw the need to celebrate with him. He assured the people of his Administration's commitments towards ensuring Bayelsa is relatively safe, stressing that anyone found promoting any form of crime within the state, will be brought to face the full weight of the law.

He further assured Bayelsans that the year 2018 will bring Peace, progress, much infrastructural development and prosperity, and concluded by wishing Bayelsans a prosperous Happy New Year, and safe trip back home.
